Thigh Bruiser – [KoTa] Knights Of The Abyss
BlackGate
BlackGate
Hi, I have been working on this build for the past month or so, and have spent a lot of time tweaking it to get it just right. I even through together a short video really fast that shows a few 1v1 (for the most part) battles that I thought showed off the build well.

Weapons:
GS/Sword+Focus
Sigils & Runes:
Superior Sigil of Bloodlust (on both weapons.)
Superior Rune of Vampirism
Note: These fit my playing style well, change to fit your own play style.

Phantasmal Defender:
Takes half of your damage for you, what’s not great about that? Down to a 24 second CD is what really makes this build so solid (5 illusions.) Having the iDefender out 90% of the time is very important, so don’t just run around using every skill that creates an illusion (#3 sword for example.) iDefender should always be one of the first spells cast!
Arcane Thievery:
Down to a 36 CD (10 Chaos) helps a lot, making it usable a couple times a duel. It is very important that this spell hits, so try your best to not mess it up and to use it when it makes sense (3 boons on them, 3 conditions on yourself.)
Signet of Illusions:
Gives a 50% HP boost to all illusions! This is crazy and works amazingly well with the iDefender! However, you never want to pop this signet! This is not a shatter build, and the CD is 90, so casting this could cost you the battle.
Elite:
Moa or Time warp both work so pick your favorite and use it. I use the Moa b/c it is beast. The elite could save your kitten but not a big part of this build in any way seeing that it has a very high CD.
Things to Note:
•#3 Sword and #2 GS both create clones, so keep this in mind and watch your iDefender CD.
•Never use the #3 Sword.
•Use the #2 Sword for defensive purposes over offensive.
•#2 & #4 GS along with your #5 Focus is where a lot of the damage comes from (#2 sword may be used offensively, just be smart with it.)
•Focus skills have reflection, so anytime the #5 is popped, try to stand right on top of him, even if the opponent is using melee. The #5 damage is crazy if you can get a person to sit on it.
