can someone give me tips on what runes and traits and weapons i should be using if i want to make my enemy kill himself.

also if its not a hassle can some people show me some good mesmer PVE builds?

If by “kill himself” you mean, applying confusion, even tough it’s a cool a idea, it’s not recommended. Confusion is pretty hard to stack and nom-profitable, in comparrison to other conditions. For example you can get much more from bleeding stacks.

For PvE build, I strongly recommend using Staff (I know some will disagree but it works perfectly for me and I’m lvl 64 right now) and Sword+Pistol/Focus on the swap.That’s what I roll and it goes really smooth for me. However the best would be to teste them all, see which one fits to you and your gameplay better, and just have fun using it!

Despite what it does, GS is more of a melee weapon. The mirror blade buffs might on whoever it bounces off of. I can, on more than one occassion get up to 12 stacks of might on myself. The damage increase alone on that is amazing. But you don’t get the buff, unless you get the rebound on the sword, thus, a melee weapon (usable at range)

Once you have 9-12 stacks, switch to sword and blurred frenzy. You’ll be awed at the damage increase.

A condition build with Staff Clones, Confusing Combatants + Debilitating Dissipation and Cry of Frustration + Illusionary Retribution + Confusing Cry is quite good at making enemies seal their own doom.
