Guild Wars 2

Mainly a WvW player. Most of my gear is in the 65 range with a 74 level legendary weapon. I am a long range power Necro. What is the best option I have in terms of upgrading all my gear/weapons to lvl 80? Do I buy from trading post or use karma points and where should I use them?

Sorry for the noob questions. I work 60 hours a week and tend to be willfully ignorant about this kind of stuff?

Karma vendors in Orr for exotic gear.
Or Badge vendors since you WvW(vW)

^ Yeah, start hitting up the Karma guys in Orr and make a plan on what stats / pieces you want. Start looking into either a named exotic weapon or how to make some mystic weapons possibly. Look for good deals for exotic jewelry or craft your own. Or start working for and collecting mats for a legendary weapon if that sounds interesting to you.

I hit level 80 recently and 4g will get you far in the AH.
What I did was buy rares in the AH (you can get some of these pretty cheap) then did searches for superior runes:

Scroll down to condition damage. You can upgrade all the rares with these and I was finding that a lot of these are like 2s each. Also think about buying some of the cheaper karma trinkets off the orr vendors if you need upgrades there. This will give you the ability to have a HUGE upgrade walking into 80 and use your karma for a couple of really nice pieces that compliment well.
