4/19 - To Viper Armor or Not
are you talking about pve? the deathly chill change is better for pve (group content) IMO
So my Necro already has Berserker (Power) and Sinister (Condi) Gear, should I bother with getting Viper, or are our Condi Spec so bad now that I should just stick with Berserker?
Depends on what you want to do and how serious you are when it comes to playing a “proper build”. If you are having fun, just stick to whatever you want. and yes, Viper is better than Sinister in every aspect for Condi Necro.
As for “meta” PvE I don’t see how anything would change. Berserkers are still the way to go on maps/dungeons/fractals and Viper is the way to go on raids. Don’t think aything will change ’cause of this patch. Power is just better in the first case, especially since there is no one to heal your horrors. And hence it beeing trash on raids, Condi is the way to go there. Bah, I would even call it necessary in some cases (Epidemic).
