(this is based on PvP zone. everyone is 80 level.)
1. feast of corruption.
it must be “Extra damage per condition: 8%” not “Damage per condition: 8%”
enemy about like 10 conditions. but this skill did 980 damage with critical hit. but if enemy has like 5 conditions, phantasmal warlock does 3~5,000 damage with critical hit. and i can spawn 3 phantasmal warlocks. necromancer is so weak.

there must be more skills that have extra damage per condition in necromancer because necromancer can do many conditions.

2. consume conditions
i had about 10 conditions. and i used this skill. it didn’t heal even 40% of my health. and i just died. a very unfair thing is mesmer’s healing skills are better than necromancer’s healing skills. blood fiend and well of blood and consume conditions are just trash.

3. terror trait.
terror must do damage based on conditions like phantasmal warlock. (Extra damage per condition). this trait is just useless. and it does damage only 1~2 times with Master of Terror trait.(40 damage+700 damage at 80 level. people have over 20,000 health. it is just nothing.) also Master of Terror is a useless trait. it is only 2~3 seconds. and there are no many fear skills. i see only 2 weapon skills that cause fear. staff and death shroud.

4. Target the Weak.
2% increased damage for each condition on a foe.
it should be Extra damage per condition: 5 or 8% like phantasmal warlock(but phantasmal warlock is 10%.)

Many skills that do a lot of damage with very long duration(9 seconds ~ 33 seconds.) are just useless in PvP. and people can be immune to conditions or remove conditions. and it takes too many seconds to do damage. I JUST DIE. I CAN’T EVEN DO DAMAGE. look at mesmer skills. they do a lot of damage without condition. and clones are Overpowered in PvP. people must be able to see which one is real one after 3~5 seconds. it is too hard to kill mesmer.

i don’t understand why those skills that have extra damage per condition do very low damage. are those skills bugged???? number 1 weapon skills(like blood curse) do at least 500~1,000 damage. even if those skills have extra damage per condition, it does under 1,000 damage. just i would use auto-attack skills instead of them.

feast of corruption is more of a life force generator spell really. (like staff auto attack, or scepter necrotic bite).

1. feast of corruption.
Slight buff needed.

2. consume conditions
Very strong heal, remember we can also transfer conditions. IMO one of the best heals in the game by far considering our condition/boon control.

3. terror trait.
Fear is very weak but consider it as a strategic utility or to release some pressure, prevent damage on knockdown or stop a revive. Its duration is more than enough for those situations.

4. Target the Weak.
This may seem minimal but it does help adding that extra pressure, remember some of the traits are a bit bugged at the moment so all is not working as intended.

On Mesmers you really need to take control at the beginning and watch out for their confusions or else they will just wreck you, kill their clones at start and DS early is key to beating a mesmer. Remember a necromancer is not about direct damage and burst damage.

We have excellent utilities such as epidemic for amazing pressure, when you step into pvp with a necromancer it’s not about killing someone fast. Your role is to put as much pressure on the enemies and deny them getting ahead of your team, if you are looking for fast damage you have picked the wrong class. That is why you will see conditions is really the only true “viable” way to go at the moment because the pressure you put out is second to none when played properly.

I’ll make mental notes on ppl that say Consume Conditions isn’t the best heal on any class in the entire game, let alone being somehow underpowered.

Well it has a lot of utility and epic synergy with necro, but overall as a healing skill, no, maybe 5th to 7th on top 10, but not the best.

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.

Yah consume condition is pretty great, I miss having it on my alts lol.

However, I do agree about terror and target the weak. Mostly target the weak since we have such low base damage.

amazing pressure?. i just gave up using long duration high condition damage skills after i saw warrior(or guadian) just removed them easily and healed a lot many times. and consume conditions heal very small amount. it is not useful at all in real pvp. i think well of blood is more useful with the trait than condition consume skill. and most enemies do 10k damage at once. if you meet rangers or thieves or frenzy worriors in pvp. you can’t even attack because most necromancer’s skills take 1~3 seconds to be cast. they will stun or knockback you every second and you will just die. and even if you consume conditions, you will get 5~10 conditions again and take 10k damage at once several times. and it doesn’t heal enough even if i consume many conditions. it didnt heal even half. long duration condition damages arekitten
look at other class skills. fear does about 1,000 damage once unless you do it many times. it is Nothing in PVP. it can’t be a pressure. people laugh at your damage and duration. no one thinks it is pressure. everyone knows long duration skills are useless. because people can wait the recharge or they can run away and go to safe zone.

and do you think you have many chances to do epidemic? in real PVP, there is only few chane to do epidemic. and even if you do epidemic perfectly, they will remove those conditions or heal a lot so many times. i was very frustrated when i saw other players heal a lot so many times even if i use spectral armor and full death shroud. they can heal a lot many times than me even if i have full death shroud. they have more health and heals. and they will run. killing necromancer is easiest thing in PVP unless they spam elite skills. and i never seen that a necromancer uses epidemic in pvp. only you think epidemic is awesome in PVP. most people know it is weak with low chance.

sometimes they kill you behind you in few seconds. necromancer has no teleport or clones or good heal skills. weak things are weak. it can’t a big pressure. they will thank you for long duration condition damage. there are two traits. it causes fear when you are disabled or downed. but it is only 2 seconds. no one thinks it is a big pressure. they laugh at your interrupt skills. even if it does 4 seconds, it is weak. because you can’t do it several times. people can wait this peaceful weak skill.
and most necromancer’s skills are middle range. even if you get close to them, they use skills at once instantly while you cast a skill.

if you can cause 1 second fear 2 times, it would be more useful. when i was mesmer, i could cause 3 dazes, 1 stun anytime. i could kill anyone easily. i complained many things about necromancer but i dont think neromancer is as lame as engineer. personally i dont like elementalist and guardian and engineer. and i am bored at mesmer.

No, please don’t up the damage. Scepter doesn’t really need more damage love. I do whole heartedly agree with the life force increase though. Make us press this button for a reason – we want life force.

Lets be honest, no matter WHAT they do to it, short of increasing the damage then making it utterly overpowered for power builds (i’ve tried using feast as a joke with a full zerker build on a 6-7 condition target…yeah, the damage is amazing). We’re always going to want to stack more bleeds as condition. Pressing 3 is contrary to this, unless it had a specific purpose. See life force suggestion.

you take 20k damage and you do 10k condition damage with long duration in PVP when you play necromancer. necromancer should do 30k condition damage with long duration. but most people in pvp can remove or immune conditions and heal a lot many times. there must be trait that remove casting delay or do more fears or reduce duration of conditions. and necromancer is awful because of many bugs. this class has many bugs. everyone knows necromancer is weak in PVP. it very easy to kill necromancer in PVP when i play warrior or mesmer or other class. long duration is so weak. it is useless in PVP.
