Hello everyone. Ill be posting my build. Trying to get a general idea of what Necros in the forum community think about the build. Your feedback is appreciated.

Good sustain with spectral wall, condi transfers and LF generation. Axe/Focus deal good damage when combining Axe 2 and Focus 4. Axe 3 AOE cripple and is very good against stealth and I’ve been able to use Focus 4 throw it in a general direction and be able to hit people who are in stealth. Focus 5 good damage and boon rip. Axe/Focus applies a lot of inv.

I know I know cast time for Focus 5 is too long. The really good thing about Focus skills are the range. By using the range of the Focus skills I’ve been able to land a majority of my hits when engaging fights and also by using fear to create openings for myself. Practice on the weapon also helps with timing the skill. Staff is a tried and true weapon of the Necro no need to explain the advantages for that weapon.

This builds real damage comes from DS. DS 1 is very powerful because of might stacking and 100% crit chance. Life Blast, Dark Path and Tainted Shackles are you primary attacking skills Doom and Life Transfer are your more defensive skills. Life Transfer can be useful to attack enemies who are in stealth. Since the build has so much LF generation you can get into DS a lot to apply pressure and stack might.

The build is countered by heavy CC builds and ranged builds that can kite.

Focus 4 is alright for helping teammates out by giving them reg and applying inv. Staff 4 to help with some condi transfers and all your fears can help your allies a bit but I wouldn’t really say this build is tailored towards team synergy.

I don’t really like focus.

To get decent effect out of focus 4, you need to get all of the bounces, which means melee range (and non moving opponent a lot of the time). It’s basically a melee skill with anet trolling us by claiming 1200 range.

Focus 5 has too long of a cast time to use.

You’ll get better damage in melee from Warhorn. And Dagger works better as a ranged weapon (but dagger 4 and 5 act as control).
