IF your rezzing a downed ally, and your surrounded by danger do not fear! Just activate plague form after you started the physical act of rezzing your ally. You will be able to rez still, while AOE blinding everyone near you.

Why is it that our elites seems to function better than our profession mechanic?

Consider Reaper of Grenth, the human elite, for instance. It provides an AOE chill and poison around you while still allowing you to attack in all your normal ways, and it looks very much like the person entered Death Shroud.

I dunno I think rezzing my ally is important enough to blow a 180 S cooldown, and provide AOE blind in the process =D

Though if they made deathshroud usable in the manner that you can use plagueform (which I hear it can be, but not too reliably) necros would spec 30 into DS, get the 3sec stability and you essentially have a rez bot. (specially if you mix in the trait that adds well of blood into the deal)

Still good to know, a well timed rez could certainly be worth that cooldown.

Wouldn’t activating the blind stop us from rezzing? How reliable is this?

Could of sworn I saw a signet with 180 sec timer that can rez up to 3 people…

But yeah necro elites are kinda meh and the utility slots are much needed, so I can see why you’d use plague form for rezzing.

To be honest, if your teamate is down and you need to rez him using plague form, things have probably alreadly gone south, and chances are you’d probably be popping plague form pretty soon anyway… It is a good tip to know, only wish death shroud worked like this too, would make foot in the grave a much better trait.
