Guild Wars 2

I’m looking for a build that’s challenging and hard to play – but yet effective.
I really dislike playing builds that are focused on mindless spam, or that are overall easy and not engaging to play. (For those reasons I quit my Warrior, Guardian and Engineer. The latter because of Nade-spam)

Depends on what you’re looking to play.
For PvE I’ve found that condition builds are troublesome, but that’s just me.

I’m not a big fan of ConD either. Mostly due to how the game design screws them over.

The focus is PvE. Probably going to spend most of the time in Fractals.

I don’t do too many fractals myself, but from what I hear, the name of the game is damage in groups, so the first link you posted is ideal. For group support you can also spec into wells for ground targeting to clear conditions, or do AOE blind etc. Again, not the expert on fractals, so you might want to wait until someone responds specifically about them.

The Shredder is one of the easiest builds you can find out there. Your goal is to stack up Might and Vulnurability, both can be effectively done while camping DS. You will have have to watch the cooldowns of Blood is Power and whatnot, but hey who doesnt?

The Well Bomber is actually quite forgiving, and that is the point of the build. It optimises sustained healing without sacrifizing damage. In order to accomplish that, you have to use your wells, swap weapons and flash ds; which you normally do in every well/dagger build.

If you want something truly challenging you might want to try a minionmancer with max dps, a hybrid build or weakness stacking builds ( check out http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/88529-a-necromancer-fractalsdungeon-build/ ).
