The problem with something like this would be…epidemic. Necros would be able to spread those conditions and quite possibly become unkillable life gaining monsters. Or they would put something like this in and it would do maybe 5hp a tick per condition . No one would be happy with the result. Either necros would feel it was a waste of time or other classes would think we were overpowered because of it.
well if it were regeneration it wouldn’t do that much as regen doesnt stack intensity and if it was life siphon effect.. well life siphons aren’t that great.. and since aoe skills are capped to hit only 5 people . Though of course if like 10 stacks of blood would cause 10 siphons and that was spread to 5 people that would be hard for one person to kill but would die still very fast if all those 3 people attacked necro.
I was thinking of that as well actually, even if a bleed tick wouldn’t heal for too much the principle that they do have another effect sounds decent.

I like the idea, but I will note that we sortof have this option. It’s not applied across the board, but you can choose a functionally similar mechanic with the health siphon skills (which I do even tho it seems to be bugged to some extent). Wells can be made to siphon on each pulse and minions can suck people dry and give it to you, etc. I think they put it in and meant it to be an option, i.e. not applied to to all specs of necro but available for creative use. That being said, as I already alluded to, it’s implemented poorly when you spec for it hehe
I think that’s an awesome idea, since health syphon currently is pretty sucky unless you’re doing dagger build – and still it’s mediocre at best. Even if it were very slight such as heal 5HP (at Lv80) for every tick of bleed you have, in many cases that could be up to 100HP a second. That wouldn’t be over powered and could even out our lame health syphon.
And even if people felt it’s underpowered if you don’t focus completely on bleeding the foe it would still be better then what we have. With a lot in power I only heal about 25HP per swing of my scepter, so for someone not completely focused on condition damage it could heal around 50HP per second, which is about what I heal without a dagger right now.
I always figured there would be a trait that increased damage dealt by 2% per condition you are suffering from up to max 50% extra dmg.
Some thing called like “Pain is Power”
Thats more a warrior thing, I wanted to play a Necromancer that was more like a Lich, not really minion based, but high Utility/Survivability.
The trait would be something in the vitality tree.
