You can read a lot on the forum about why CoCo applying self-conditions is not bad, “You can transfer them!” and similar “reasons”.
That’s not true, CoCo as a Corruption skill is bad, idiotic, quagganing.

In my eyes, CoCo with condi-transfers is not effective.
If you have enough transfers to clear all condi the enemy throws at you, you will not use CoCo at maximum potential, as you will not cleanse conditions for more heal, there’s a nice chance you would have better results with another heal.

If your build tries to kill the enemy with condi-transfers, using CoCo will lower your damage output/potential, as you “exchanged” your ammo for 4 seconds of Vulnerability, which alone is not worth the transfer skill.

If you don’t have enough transfers and want to use CoCo to clear the condis you can’t transfer, then well.. you can’t transfer the self-conditions and that’s +10% dmg against you for 4 seconds. Without any block/invul/evade skill, you can only hope that the enemy is stupid enough to not burst you down or you have dodge ready for it (we still don’t have Vigor, right?).

I can’t find any reason why making CoCo a Corruption is a good idea, as I feel the same with Shelter getting a Category. The difference is that Shelter did not get a Category, not like CoCo.

Making CoCo a Corruption skill is a plain nerf, so if you think it’s not, please say your reasons, I’m interested why some people think it was a good change.
And no, I don’t think CoCo was OP with 1.25 sec casting time which means your enemy could interrupt it easily. (Can you please try to interrupt Shelter/Withdraw/Healing Turret, thanks~)

Here it comes. Few guys insisting the change to CC was actually great, but refusing to post their buids/videos of their builds in play showing all the advantages they are talking about.
Do they even play necro?
