Advice please for my Power Necro
Well, honestly, I’d suggest mixing zerker gear with Valkyrie. Get some valkyrie armor and zerker weapons/accessories and you should be fine. The thing is DS build have a crucial benefit from stacking power and critical damage, which you lack at the moment.
With this type of Powermancer, you want to stay in your Shroud as long as possible and Vitality coupled with 30 in Soul Reaping gives really good defensive. You build up your LF fairly quickly, don’t lose it too fast (take new Vital Presence in SR if you haven’t, unless you roam). Stacking some toughness might be some idea, however I feel that just focusing on good positioning, taking things like Spectral Armor and absorbing damage with DS if necessary is better. Before you start focusing some target, try to rip their boons like protection or vigor off with Spinal Shivers/Unholy Feast.
Those are some general tips I can give you if you mainly run with some other people, maybe zergs even (however, well/pvt builds better suit zergplay). If you plan to roam solo, couple things change in general, but it’s topic for another time

I roam with my power necro and this is what I use.
I didnt feel much need to mix in Knights or Valkyrie….it feels as if the longer u draw out the fight the more likely you will lose imo.
if you want the community to offer better help then just add your detailed build and explain the problems you run into.

Some alternative suggestions:
I went for this build in spvp. its very similar but i am using power/might on signets
(Foot in the grave/unyeilding blast to stack vulnerability while gaining might as alternative for SR) works a charm with DS/outlasting..
3.5k attack for a base, stack might (maybe bloodlust) can make you hit like @#%$#%
still have a high crit chance (even after soldiers jewel to replace zerker jewel)
This is with exotic armor.
1 utility left to , maybe take a well/escape/( blood is power ^^) locust sig or plague signet for cleanse.
note i havn’t went WvW with power at all, and i am curious how you fare with your build in wvw.. what problems you bump into etc.

Let us know what issues you’re running into in WvW and we can better help. I personally run Cavalier armor/few trinkets to maintain crit dmg on everything, but have some toughness. It’s true that DS Necros get more out of Vitality than basically every other class, but I still just generally prefer toughness because healing doesn’t scale with vitality.
Knights makes you lose out on Crit Dmg for Precision that you simply don’t need. Also, your utilities seem to assume that you will have free reign on someone, and that almost never happens in my experience. You could use WoS on an immob’d target, but the number of breaks/blinks/etc. are high. I always recommend more defensive/condition control/boon manipulation utilities to deal with each enemy class’s strengths. And Spectral Grasp is just fun.

D/D to transfer conditions can be good because it’s a low vitality build.
