So I’ve just returned after a long hiatus and I’m loving my necro again. Condi damage is insane in PvP, but I’m wondering what I should do while leveling? What weapons and skills should I use?

A Minion master build with axe/focus + dagger/war horn is pretty easy to level with

I’d suggest finding a fun build, or change builds every time you buy new gear, over an effective build. That way you get bored while leveling.

Changing builds as you level also lets you have a good idea about what you want to do when you hit level 80.

Minions are pretty fun while levelling.

full power, wells and staff. Grab all the nobs u can find, put down wells and marks and then do DS #4. Collect that xp

So far, I seem to prefer a DS-based build for leveling. I switch out utilities to keep it interesting — a little bit of minions, a little bit of wells. Axe/warhorn with staff secondary. Nice variety and very, very survivable.
