Another Yski WvW Video
No offense, the video might be good, but I could not stand the music so I turned it off.

Perhaps I made the wrong music pick this time, then. I don’t really listen to anything myself, so I go loot the Anet sound cloud page whenever I need some gw2 music.
I actually loved the music what artist?

Look at the end credits, or alternatively arenanet official sound cloud. It’s genuine gw2 music
Music from SAB sounds like to me.
Do you have any recent gameplay, seeing that one is from before the changes to condition UI were introduced…
Don’t worry, some of us love 8-bit/chiptunes music. I’m one of them.
Also, I can’t bring myself to use Lich Form in a 1v1, and I’m not really sure why. Maybe I’ll try forcing myself to use it more. Either way, I enjoy seeing other Powermancers roaming around in WvW.

That is because it is incredibly cheezy. The reality is you are better off just spamming 1 and running around dodging in lich, which obviously makes you feel bad because it is something I could easily teach my 3 year old to do. No facing requirement and piercing.
The same reason stands to why people hate using cloud form in 1v1. It is just down right bad mannered as the effective counter to those both is to just run away, stealth, break LOS, which are all things that are pretty rude to in a 1v1.
Then again, these appear to be open field fights, which no matter if that is 1v1 or 1vX, it is perfectly fine in my opinon to lich it up. Winners are winners.

It is a bit to slow, long cast time and you become very slow inside it so are easily out run. I personally run with Golem most of the time in my Powermancer build.
I second golem, the damage is always there and the knock down is great. Also plague is boss for taking burst and waiting for your heal to come off cool down.
TBH I have never tried litch in pvp seems gimmicky
It’s the cheesiness, based on further analysis. At least in a 1v1. Using Lich against a zerg is just delicious, which is why I carry it. I’d be better served running around with the Flesh Golem, but I sometimes forget about my elite slot entirely.
Actually, I don’t choose Flesh Golem as often because I hate when it goes on cooldown the second I swim in water, and if I have any desire to stomp a class effectively in a 1vX, I need to have Plague Form equipped. But I think I’ll go back to carrying it, because at the very least it’s more damage/utility than using absolutely nothing.

Good video, btw it is possible to select combat log during your next vid?
I see nothing wrong with using lich form against thieves.

Yup, world 2.
Good video, btw it is possible to select combat log during your next vid?
Think of it like this: the chat can guide me towards potential new victims, while the combat log kindly informs me of my kills. As a result, I tend to keep my chat open.
I’ll try turning on the combat log occasionally from now on, though I doubt I’ll remember that most of the time, considering I’m constantly missing kills due to not turning on the recording program :P

I apologize for the old footage. I don’t really have all that much free time, so it often takes me a while to gather enough footage and then a few more weeks before I actually edit it together. Those were all the clips I had at the moment, but perhaps I’ll devote a weekend to getting some more at some point.
cheezy.
Agreed, but who doesn’t like seeing their wells suddenly deal like twice their normal damage?
