Guild Wars 2

Started a Necromancer recently, playing him like a Minionmancer. Loving it, but there’s one thing I can’t stand and that is the noise the Shadow Fiend makes.

Any way to shut him up? Maybe removing an audio file from the game directory or something? I’d love to use him since I actually like it’s look despite not matching up with my other minions, but I really can’t listen to it’s weird vibrating.

turn down effects volume or turn up your music ;-)

Honestly, even using the guy a fair amount, I have no idea what he sounds like. I have in-game sound pretty low.

I haven’t used him yet, but just made a necro and am running around town with him. It is annoying so far, lol.

You maybe expected a shadow fiend to be ……pleasant, to hang out with? :P

Why would you turn off the nice chitters from the Underworld? Now if you ment Bone minions/Jhorrors and the death emote by the pc, that i can agree.

At least it doesn’t sound like a Norn Female getting knocked down :P

You do get used to it in time, but yeah, at the beginning the Shadow Fiend’s sounds bugged the hell out of me too.

I’d still prefer to use Flesh Wurm in place of him, but it’s annoying having to destroy/recast the Wurm in every single fight.

heheheh the shadow fiend probably knows exactly how annoying it is. "You yanked me out of a 2dimensional realm of shadow and slammed me into this light filled hell. I wonder if theres something I can do over and over and OVER again everytime I move JUST to put forth how annoyed I am at this sutation. OH I KNOW!)

I can still hear my Jagged Horror dying. Bobbley-balloon is pleasant in comparison. Sit back and enjoy the mind virus.
