Necromancer:

Fetid Ground: Added a radius skill fact.
Well of Blood: Added a radius skill fact.
Wail of Doom: Increased the spell effect to better represent the actual spell area.
Tainted Shackles: This skill’s damage tooltip now displays the appropriate damage.
Doom: Added an effect that plays on the necromancer when this skill is used.
Reaper’s Mark: This skill now uses a distinct animation compared to the other mark skills on staff to help improve readability when this skill is cast. The timing and effectiveness of this skill remains unchanged.
Summon Bone Fiend/Rigor Mortis: Added a range fact to these skills.
Reaper’s Touch: Updated the skill fact to display the proper regeneration amount.
Crimson Tide: Fixed a bug that allowed this skill to ignore line of sight.

Only actual mechanical change was Crimson Tide now requiring line of sight (rather sad on that one, but it wasn’t unexpected for it to change at some point). Everything else was just tooltip updates and a couple of visual changes for identification purposes.

I can live with this.

Wail of doom got buffed which is actually pretty nice.

I’m glad the visual changes were out in so people can understand how they got feared “9 times in a row” and whatever else.

Yep, readability changes are always good. The rest of the stuff is just big fixes and boring adjustments. Still waiting on Putrid Mark, though.

I main Ele and Necro, though I have an alt of each profession at level 80.

New graphic size on Wail of Doom makes it actually feel impactful. I mean the actual functionality is unchanged, but now it actually looks like a 600 range conal attack that dazes for 3 seconds, and that’s worth a lot to me.

Also, Doom got its reaper effect back!

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Well the visual change on (our 2 handed pole, since it kiteens me if i say it) 5 is awesome if you stand still and have a scyhte skin, it looks like your necro slashes something apart.

Just tooltip clarifications? Are you kidding me? Where are the improvements to Blood Magic and Death Magic? Where is the Dhuumfire replacement? What a boring patch.

It was a content patch not a balance patch… Didn’t see a lot of balancing for anyone. Fear not, the reductions in power will come soon.

I like the confusion one. The torment one is meh if you ask me. Torment duration was easy to get in the first place… and we can only apply it once every 45ish seconds.

It wasn’t a balance patch, it wasn’t even a “fix” patch that they have on rotation in between big balance patches, this was purely content and they were nice enough to add in some clarification and new animations.
