Necrotic Grasp natively pierces. You do not need Unyielding Blast for it to pierce.

Is that what you mean?

It definitely always has, even without any traits.

I don’t play Necro but Specialise in Rangers, just a note Piercing (hits up to 5 targets in a line that would effectively up your life draining)
without the trait your hitting 3. just a thought there.

I am pretty sure Unyielding blast doesnt change staff auto in any way, like Sarrs and Tael already said staff aa piecres by default.

@Zenos too bad that necros rarely traits for life leach since it doesnt work in Ds and the numbers are not good enough. And lineing opponents properly is hard to do.
