Axe/Dagger Or Dagger/Axe?
you should be looking at traits first, and the stats they give second. If you’re picking a trait line for the stats it gives you’ve already goofed.

Well you cant equip axes off-hand, so that answers the topic title.
For PvE Toughness line is much more effective for leveling using minions, Vitality is really only for heavy healing power dagger builds which arnt that effective even at max.
Just check all the trait lines for there effects rather then going on the +power/ +vitality boosts and find a setup that suits your play style the most.

around the midlevels, dagger+healing vamp necro works really well in solo play.
once you grow out of it, as ascii said, it’s not effective at max level.
Toughness>vitality
power>precision
Condition+precision=NO
Condition+Toughness=Yes
14 builds later.. i realized precision is almost worthless to a necro. only benefits are found in a lot of gimmick traits or sigil of the earth. (advice: don’t make a gimmick build that relies on traits)
Thanks! Just to draw on your experience(s) and feedback:
Axe+Focus / Dagger+Warhorn (30 in Power line) (Which 30 trait to take and why?)
Skip Precision Line
Skip Vitality Line
Go for Toughness+Power Gear
That means 30/0/0/0/30 +10
Edit: Or Axe+Warhorn / Dagger+Focus?
