Axe SUGESTION
Please increase the range to 1200. Its our only decent power ranged weapon thats far from op and but still makes it so easy for us to be kited or unable to persue/finish a class that easily outruns necro reapers ( prety much every other class)

It’s highly likely that this would need to be coupled with making it behave as a projectile attack — that is, subject to reflection — at the same time; anet have commented that they regret ranged attacks that are not projectiles, and this is one of the few examples.
If they make it projectile becomes useless for another diferent reason
Yes ! Scepter too! Basically most classes can just sit afar and kite us down and we are the ones who have to put our neck on the line because of lack of range.

Yes auto only. And axe 3 could be unblocable
I think axe is good where it is at. Lots of professions have weaker 1200 range weapons so 900 is good. At least, that is my impression. I often drop staff for axe when I do not need the AoE

Well, that’s pretty much the trade-off anet want for ranged attacks: that they can be reflected and blocked, in ways that being up close and personal can’t. The idea being that you have to make a smart choice about which of the things you want to give up on in return for the advantages of your weapon.
It’s … definitely a consistent development strategy, and I can see why they would regret the exceptions to it.

If turned into projectile make it 1500 with trait lime ranger lb. Also druid pewpew staff constant hits tracking target say hello
Mesmer greatsword is a 1200 range and can’t be reflected as a projectile. Elemental has a staff attack that isn’t a projectile and again has 1200 range. The Druid staff same thing, it can’t be reflected. If the axe was a projectile necromancers would be hosed for reliable ranged attacks that can’t be easily reflected. The problem I see with the axe is either it should hit multiples giving the necromancer a mid utility ranged attack or the staff should adopt a non-projectile attack with it’s auto attack since the rest is marks rounding it out to a more straight forward ranged weapon. Something like what the White Mantle Necros do with a line attack. Damage could be the same, just not a projectile would fit the weapon better.
