I seem to have noticed another bug with the Necromancer. Reaper’s Touch does not receive any cooldown bonus from Spiteful Talisman, the trait located in Spite tier (II). The cooldown should be dropping from 18 to 14.5 seconds after taking the trait, but this boost is not being applied and the skill always keeps the 18 second countdown. But at least the tool tip updates… Meanwhile, Spinal Shivers does receive the cooldown bonus.

I have not had time to test whether the range enhancement works with Reaper’s Touch.

Can this get fixed at some point?

Going to have to take a video for devs to take notice. This bug has been around since the dawn of GW2 and has not been fixed yet.

If it doesn’t get resolved in this patch (28th May), I am going to pursue the Words Can’t Express My Disappointment campaign and create a video for every bug on the list, starting with this one. Because this one has been around, and reported, and obvious for too long.

Apparently the bonus damage that was added to spinal shivers on boon removal doesn’t work if this trait is taken as well, i haven’t done any testing personally but just the fact it’s half working, it’s just not worth taking at all.
They actually changed the sound on reapers touch as well, but didn’t even touch the broken trait.

No, they fixed the bonus damage for boon removal on the trait in the April patch.

Ah my mistake, still I’m not sure why the trait was left just at that without a full fix :s

Important to note that it works fine in sPvP. Bugged in PvE and WvW.

The range is messed up too. Sometimes it has the extended 1200 range and other times it goes back to the traitless range.

I have noticed this many times in that when im chasing someone I can cast spinal shivers but not reaper’s touch unless I get a bit closer. They should have the same range.

Indeed. This is perhaps the most irritating of bugs to me at the moment. My entire build revolves around the focus, and this single bug is the weak link.

Be sure to also include the fact that even with the trait, Reaper’s Touch still only goes about 900 meters instead of the 1200 its supposed too.

This bug has been around forever. But they have more pressing “issues”
