Guild Wars 2

Well I was part of the Titan Alliance at one time, if anyone remembers those days. I enjoyed the game but I hated the direction it was taking with the ascended gear and everything becoming a grind. I also play a Necro and didnt like the fact that at that time, rangers and engineers could build bleeds faster than us and I felt necro minion AI was just stupid. All in all, i was disgusted at the lack of attention this class was getting and ultimately quit.

So, if I am to come back, I would like to know what has changed? Has the class gotten better? I know when I left, death shroud did nothing more than prolong your death and life steal was soooooo pathetic. I heard about the new Torment condition which quite frankly, giving that to thieves and rangers is really stupid.

What do you guys think?

agreed, giving torment to thieves is stupid.

I think the necro class has gained many more fanboi’s than bug fixes since you left.

It’s the Thief & Mesmer that are also getting access to torment (rangers don’t), how efficient or easily accessible their version is, remains to be seen.

The past few weeks we got some attention and on the 25th of june we will probably enjoy some buffing(we also get access to Burn ontop of torment), trait changes and more stuff. Minion AI seems to work a bit better.

Also rangers don’t get torment, mesmers do(even worse).
We’ll see in less than 72 hours

Ah, sorry about that. Mezmers….eeeesh. Well I appreciate the responses, and we get access to burn aye? Well I think I might pick this back up then if we are FINALLY getting some buffs. This class was in terrible condition when I left (no pun intended). Ill have another look and feel this out I guess. thanks guys.

Ok, so… It seems like you don’t like necro at all…? You complain about every single aspect of it, so why don’t reroll?

Anyways, with the bleed and minion AI issue, why don’t you run a well build? They are great!

Mesmer: I bet they will implement it on the 3rd hit with septer or blade.. just to kitten with the stubborn people who still think they can enjoy the necro profession or simply give a insant in utilities that has a very low cooldown ^^

Hey, dont be sad.. we can still stack buffs on ourself like any other profession…. oh wait..XD
