I am tired of the obvious bias against necros. No other class has to weaken itself for lackluster skills, or to apply conditions. No other class, has to use a heal, which also weakens itself. No other class has to depend on one mechanic for defense, and is limited to two dodges with no ability to mitigate damage. Most condi builds apply conditions at greater levels, and can maintain higher levels of condis than we can. Sustain damage coupled with mobility, defense, good heal sand regen are available to other classes while we are given watered down versions.

This bias is overwhelming. This was pointed out in another forum:

Burning Precision: Critical hits have a 33% chance to cause 2 seconds of burning. Burning duration is increased by 20%.
Necromancer
Grandmaster:
Dhuumfire: Shroud skill 1 inflicts 1 stack of burning for 3 seconds when it hits.
They actually gave the original Dhuumfire (plus a buff) to eles as a Minor.
Compare that to the Necro trait that they call a “Grandmaster” which also requires LF and slow projectile to hit.

I don’t even need to point out that no other heal skill in the game kittens the user more than consume conditions.

The power creep coupled with these nerfs and the overwhelming bias towards other classes and against the Necro is disgusting,

Reroll to a better class, i.e. any other class than necro.

So bored of people who say this. How about YOU invest over 100 hours into another character?

What are you trying to say? I’ve got ~800 hours on necro. It’s a useless, kitten, not fun class. The only fun that could be had out of necro is getting removed now anyway.

I rerolled to ele, got ~1.1k hours on elementalist now. Everything is SO.MUCH.BETTER that it would take a miracle for me to log on to my necro ever again, outside of taking some gear from him to give it to another alt.

If I could get a refund for the full amount of gems I have bought plus the game, I would delete/close my account and destroy my two legendaries, and walk from this game and never look back. That said, the money and time invested makes mefeellikethe loss will be more felt on my side. Well of course it will because Anet does not care about individuals, it cares about the masses, thepercentageof total players to make the most money. Quality products are no longer a thing, as Anet benefits from the revolving door policy. Old out, new in = more cash. Thatsaid,Anet will not get a single red cent from me in the future and I will not but the expansion. I will also be line to the release of crowfall or CU, and take my hard earned cash elsewhere.
