Bleed duration cap?
AFAIK there is no cap
Though after a while it hardly matters, because who cares if a mob dies with 30 seconds of bleed left on it?
well it would matter in a dungeon group where there is few bleeds from others. You 100% about this? Since i saw a few posts mentioning such.
Well, if it helps I was testing this the other day and I had +10% condition duration from 10 in spite, 20% condition from 2 piece mad king and 2 piece Lyssa, 20% from the trait, 10% bleed from my weapon sigil and it all stacked appropriately. I think I was getting somewhere between 45-50 seconds on my blood is power.
well first of all you werent at the cap with those, and secondly blood is power has a 30 sec duration meaning that youd need to try to get it above 60secs to prove that its not capped.

Prob. best to not post if you do not really know. I get that you used AFAIK, but still.
Yes the cap is 100%. I have tested it as have many others. Does that cap apply to other conditions aside from bleed? That I do not know and have not tested, however even if POISON/burn went over 100% duration it wouldn’t matter much as those effects tend to get reapplied and do not stack.
Lingering curse goes above and beyond for the scept, giving it a max of 133%.
EDIT: Typo
Most all boons and conditions have a 1 minute cap on duration. I assume bleeding does too. Although really BiP is the only skill that could get near the duration cap, even with 100%+ duration.

Boon cap is 3 mins AFAIK – At least I used to get just under 3 mins of fury/swiftness on my Engi.
Kittens, Kittens everywhere!
Yeah, you’re right. Boon cap is longer I think. Condition cap is 1 minute AFAIK.
As a thief, I was wondering why I couldn’t break the 20-second mark with my Death Blossom bleeds, which is exactly double the 10-second default length. A 100% duration cap would explain that perfectly.
To be specific about what’s happening, after traits and buffs I Death Blossom and notice the bleed timer at 17s. Adding the 28% pizza I notice it starts at 19s, and then the 40% pizza still shows a start point at 19s. I’m assuming it’s actually at 20 for an instant I’m not seeing, but 40% pizza over 28% pizza on a 10-sec base bleed should add 1.2 seconds and it does not.
