Q:
Blood is Power Bugged?
A:
Its definately not Blood is Power causing the problem, its whatever sigil you are using on your MH/OH BEFORE switching to the other weapon set with the battle sigil.
So you cast blood is power, auto attack a few times, then swap, and no +3 might stacks? I would bet your problem is you are using a fire/air/earth sigil that has procced. Once that happens, until the internal cooldown on whatever that sigil requires runs out, the weapon swap sigils will not work. Earth is something like 2-3 seconds, fire/air are longer.
I have tested this extensively and know the +3 will work just fine with BIP. In fact, with two battle sigils (one on each weapon swap) you can get up to 19 for a moment or two with BIP and swapping back and forth in combat.
My advice is to not use swapping sigils with procing sigils. Go one way or the other. Double Battle/double geo works great, but try to mix those with the fire/air/earth causes them to fail about 50-60% of the time.
AFAIK it’s the sigil that is bugged.
I use Superior Sigils of Battle in my main weapons for WvW and i haven’t noticed an issue apon switching and not getting the stacks of might.
- Blood is Power for 10 stacks of might
- Swapping to staff for 3 stacks of might
- Swapping back to Axe/ Horn for 3 more stacks
One thing to remember is all sigils share the same “cooldown” time period.
Example:
Staff (Superior Sigil of Chilling)
&
Staff (Superior Sigil of Battle)
If you proc the Superior Sigil of Chillings effect (2 second chill on crit, 10 second cooldown) and then weapon swap, you will not get the 3 stacks of might.
Using Sigils that have no cooldown period alongside Battle Sigils is the best way to use them, for example i use Axe (5% Crit) / Warhorn (3 Might stacks on switch) & Staff (+3 Might stacks on switch)
Hope this helps!

tl;dr sigils share a cooldown
Thanks….and I must say thats just bullocks….I really like the sigil of fire (I like to pretend that dagger attack can cleave) – but now I suppose 5% extra crit will have to do. Thats so vanilla though =/
