Hello everyone. As many of you know, Bas has been incredibly busy with SOAC events, and I have been finishing up school. As a result of this, all Necro dungeon runs have kind of… fallen off.

That said, after next week I will not be so busy anymore, and am looking to reinstate our runs. I’m basically looking to have a “casual” run for people. This would be just one path daily, and we’d go through every dungeon, story mode and explorable mode in order. So first run would be AC story, then the next day AC exp p1, until we reached Arah exp p3, and we’d go back to the beginning. This will let people see everything from dungeons, and make for a fun and easy way to get a daily dungeon run in. This would be open for anyone that has a Necro that is of high enough level to make it into the dungeon.

Every so often we will have a “large” event where we will do an entire dungeon, and that will likely be streamed.

I’d like to know what times work best for people (this event would be NA, although EU is welcome to get together and do it) on the weekdays. This will be starting up May 29th unless something comes up.

Timing for me is best between 8 and 10 PM EDT. Would love to get in on some all necro runs after I did a 4 necro/1 ranger Honor of the Waves run a while back.

We might start on TA then. I think its fairly underplayed anyway.

I’m always interested in this, I was planning on doing some of my own runs and recording for purposes of testing builds too if anyone is interested in that. But as far as the BoC runs I’m available most afternoons and evenings eastern US time so feel free to put me on the list for that. If the runs go late into the night I’m fine with that.

That reminds me of when my necro was in a party with 2 other necro and did the “Caudecus’s Manor”-dungeon. It was hard for a party with 3 necro’s (and nobody else) but so very fun

Okay, I’m thinking 5pm PST (server reset time) is probably best. I won’t be able to make all of them with this time because of other scheduling, but I’d like for this to become kind of a daily event that people look forward to doing, and it should help everyone out with their dailies anyway. Anyone that wants to take part in the events, just log on a few minutes before 5pm, grab up a group, and head into the dungeon.

Then every once in a while we might do longer events that we will stream. I’m thinking we will kick it off with a streamed run of TA, I’ll let you all know when I get a good date for us.

You know that kinda wont work if the same thing happens that was earlier (as in only nay is on and representing)… We really need some callendar/organization for pve stuff (like dungeons on X and Y days, a run of some fun JPs on A, fractals on B and C, etc).

I’m not planning for these to be big events, just for people who’d like to get through dungeons, do their dailies in a more fun way, etc. We’ll have bigger events sometimes, but basically it will just be log in at 5pm PST, do a dungeon run or two, everyone says byebye.

We are working on a calendar for the new website. I will be sure to add these functions for contributors and podcasters to post the events. I am sorry that the run didn’t go off as planned.

BTW, if anyone is wondering more about bhawb he did recently appear in a podcast called barelyrelevant.com, to help promote GW2 and SOAC.

Its not like GW2 requires 40 people to be there infront of a giant gold gate that is guarded by epic mobs that you can only kill with 3+ people and everything goes to kitten even if 2-3 people cant/dont show up. So no worries, also we will get a LFG tool with the dragon festival.

Pfft…I liked it when I needed 40 people with some semblance to sentience. Good memories. >_>

Not so nice if lets say there was a one time only event that managed to be bugged out by people transfering over to the server and breaking the event chain causing a special friend in FABULOUS PURPLE to be locked forever, then after grinidng 6 hours of plant tentacles to get a stack of resistance potions (and wasting a week worth of items) just so that 3 people slack off and it goes to waste for the week…

I am totally new to PvE and my necro just hit 80 so I’d love to tag along. Just need a few pointers on builds/playstyles/etc.

Yeah guys, I have jury duty so I literally just got home. Also, 5pm PST is 1 hour ago.

So we went to Twilight Arbor, and ended up going F/U (We couldn’t remember which path was which)

All in all it was going pretty well, very few actual deaths and we were rolling most everything, then we got to the end boss. (Nightmare tree, endless spider mode)

After a few failed kiting attempts, we managed to range it down, because somehow that doesn’t aggro 50 spiders.

Nice to see TA’s end fight is still stupidly hard.

If you are already on a NA server, doesnt matter since the dungeon instances aint actually linked to any of the world servers, if you are on EU, sorry out of luck.

Alright guys, I have no idea if you have been doing the runs or not, but I apologize for not being around. I got stuck in a huge jury pool, and just today was I excused. However, I should be able to do this from now on.

I just made an EU necro for this very reason, just hit 80 on it now trying to gear it up. So I can try to get some EU runs going for you guys too.

I would like to join a few of the dungeon runs. Are there any fixed times (GMT) and days to queue up in the guild, or should I just represent and declare I am available?

There are many dungeons I have not done explore mode on because I did not want its ugly armor, some with ordinary stats I can just craft.

Unlike many players, my availability during spring and summer is greatly reduced so I doubt I will be a regular. I have hardly played at all the last two months; especially when compared to last fall. Forgive me if my play is poor.

Oh man, I did that one a few days ago. It suuuuuuucks. Signet of Undeath kept us from having to wipe, though. We were trying to range it down but still kept aggroing spiders and at once point, three of us went down at once. Signet of Undeath to the rescue!

Will do. Idk about being able to record or stream, since I seem to be having issues with recording GW2 right now (and only GW2, every other game works just fine, go figure) but I’ll do my best, Maybe someone else can stream it if need be.
