But what are peoples experience with the “new” epidemic in PvE? While levling in my 60´s i don´t see any problems with it not hitting mobs or getting obstructed. Is the complaints more PvP/WvWvW centric?
Agreed that Axe 3 is a good skill. That AoE range is huge. It is a shame though that skill is on a single target weapon.
Axe is good on a minion master build. For WvW though minions dies too fast. Since minions are weak in wvw, so is axe.
Overall, I still think the staff is better than Axe in WvW.
Epidemic is bad in WvW now. I just hope that this opens up room for other necro buffs.

I think we came to the conclusion that it should be open for discussion. Perhaps halving the damage once it crossed a certain number, or allowing the stack to happen only on bosses that have the defiant skill.
It’s a very scary thing to just haphazardly lift the cap to 40. That would lead to everyone rerolling to condition caps, because 40 ticks at 150 per tick spread to 5 people will quickly wipe out entire groups. Even if you had 25 ticking at 150 with 15 ticking at 75 that’s still an incredible amount of damage every second.
I think if you up the cap, and lessen the damage you then eliminate Hybrids which kills your variety as it would make more sense to go full conditions than to hybrid because the ca kitten o high.
This leaves us with another option. Increasing the time between ticks, which then crushes Condition Damage specs in tournaments.
This is why nothing has been done so far.
Didnt everyone go over this once at least, 25 cap is ok, set pve party and tournament setups are organized so that there aint more than 1 or 2 condition (not just damage) specs, hybrids dont go all out on either way so the cap aint much of a problem in that case and for wvwvw the only place it might turn out to be a problem is in smaller groups.
And event bosses, well they now can be golded if you hit them 10 times with scepter or are just in the general area doing something to do with the meta event with the amount of people on them (at least Claw and SB can).
People keep forgetting something: the 25 stack cap is because it is far too resource demanding for them to track more conditions. They had to put a cap somewhere, otherwise the servers would be on fire 24/7 trying to handle the condition tracking. It is a technical limitation, and it works quite fine in all non-pug parts of the game.
