So if Death Shroud is the reason why we don’t have vigor, block, invulnerability, and other utilities that I’m forgetting and Life Force being drained when in Death Shroud, our skills in Death Shroud use Life Force, Life Blast does half damage when Life Force is below 50%, 10 second cd for Death Shroud making it a bit risky to use it offensively (IMO) then shouldn’t ArenaNet increase Life Force gain and somehow buff Death Shroud?

I think most people would very happily take any of those boons over a death shroud buff if they had the choice (unless you combined it, as in “boon upon entering ds”). Also I don’t think that death shroud is supposed to work as a replacement for any of those boons because the mechanic is so different. So whether or not anet introduced ds as a compensation for the lack of certain other damage avoidance abilities (which I doubt) is imo not relavant to the need for a ds or lf buff.

Life Force in general doesn’t need buffing, but condition builds need a LF gain buff.

The Death Shroud traits Death Siver, Speed of Shadows, and Vital Persistence need to change. Staying in Death Shroud for long periods is the worst way to use Death Shroud (they nerfed that playstyle back in closed beta), and our traits need to reflect that. No one ever takes those traits because they are terrible; who is going to waste all of their LF to run a little faster, or for a stack of vulnerability.

In all fairness, those three traits aren’t the only ones that no one would ever take.
But yeah, staying in Death Shroud longer than getting 2 or 3 skills off usually has little to no appeal, which is why I (as a condition mancer) am rarely bothered by a slowly refilling lf bar. The only time when it’s really annoying is at the beginning of every pvp round because you always start at zero.
