I’ve just gone back to using Necro for hot joins and I can’t seem to think of a build.
AOE is pretty important for tagging, so I’m guessing staff with greater marks and wells.

I want to be able to handle my self though If I get stuck in a 1v1 situation.

Eh, just run MM, bunker MM (while not TECHNICALLY viable 5v5) works just fine for me and is incredibly fun. And it’s easy to do “okay” with, while requiring more skill than most to master, (dealing with dead minions)

Condition Necro is the “bread and butter” spec of serious tourney play, so it is advisable to learn the playstyle first in case you ever do venture into tournaments. As a starting point for hot joins I would recommend a tanky condition spec, such as this one:

It is very tanky and has decent mobility with high swiftness uptime from Spectral Walk, so there is a lot of room for error for those starting out. It also has a lot of flexibility with the traits and amulet choice, so that as you get more comfortable playing the spec you can start to trait/gear for more damage and less survivability.

Not to mention the standard condition build is really easy to use to easily get 200+ points per game.

How nice I just got back playing a Necro too I am not sure if there were many changes on the necro recently but I used to play condition Necro with wells. Is there still a vaible tPvP build for that?
