Lately i have seen the trend of stun/kd and burn.

I know burning is the strongest condition out there and should be considered a logical choice, but lately it seems like all there is is burning..

Conditions got nerfed into the ground so hard trough counters that playing a condition build is just laughable.

I tried to dip my foot into burning with necro and i kind get the feeling dhuumfire is pretty useless even adding all the extra condition damage and burning runes/gear..

In no way does burning on a necro compete with any other profession out there and it makes me wonder why we have this condition in the first place? Second there is no counter present to the stun/kd and burn players out there..

Sure, trow your condition counters in your build, mention #4 and plague sending and consume conditions. but that doesn’t compete to the condition counters on other professions.

Imo conditions are a necro’s worst nightmare at the moment.. and we are due for a condition buff or an equaly passive condition removal. to have a true counter to these current meta’s..

stuff is getting rediculous again ^^

What are you talking about? Burning on necros should not be on par with burning on other professions, yes it buffs our dps, but that’s really not the point. It’s there to provide a cover condition for our bleeds (which are our main source of damage in condition builds). You shouldn’t get runes that improve burning, it’s not worth it. There is no counter for stuns? Equip a stun breaker! And conditions are no problem for a necro and never have been. We have the best condition removal out of every class, without having to spend loads of trait points to get it.

I think he’s talking about conditions lasting like 0.003 seconds or removed instantly. I think we all know what he’s talking about.

Skills having stunbreak were good before “balance patches” but most of them not anymore so it’s not really worth carrying many of them stuns wouldn’t be so much of a problem in general if there wasn’t these fotm stun builds running amok. You can, however, try take some stun breaks with you if you see it as a source of the problem but I’d like to say there’s just so many stuns incoming that one or two stunbreaks rarely save you. (except breaking fear in skyhammer)
