Guild Wars 2

Took my necro out tonight and had a bad time of it. Other necros ate me for dinner, pretty much everything did. Have enough karma/gold to re do the necro with exotics.

Will be mainly solo or running with a friend through the ruins and flipping camps.

In small groups you’ll probably have better luck with conditions. With zerging you’ll usually have much better luck with a power build.

Most powerful condition build will be 30/20/0/0/20 with dhuumfire and terror traits, and you can roll with rabid or dire gear, or a mix.

Downed fear still not an AoE…

For a tanky zerging power build, something like x/20/x/x/30. Your extra points put it where ever you want. The 20 in Curses gives you chilling on blinds (use plague form as your elite and spam that blind) and ground targeted wells. 30 in Soul Reaping will give you +50% crit while in DS and buff it as well. Drop your wells in the middle of the enemy blob, go immediately into DS so your wells will crit like a truck and spam your DS 5 and 4. You should see big numbers flying all over the screen. Stay in DS for a bit and spam 1, it would be a good idea to pick up the traits that give might on Life Blast and make it pierce. Use PVT armor with zerker trinkets or some combination depending on your style/skill level.

In the spoiler drop-down at the very bottom of the main post. I’ve been running with Knight’s armor and Zerker weapons and trinkets. You can swap those for what you feel more comfortable with. I WAS running full Zerks but decided I could do with a little armor.

The utilities I swap out pretty regular, but you’re traited to make use of Spectrals and Wells. DS becomes a powerful tool if you treat it as a block, etc.
