Changes To Death Shroud
I’m super psyched. Since those two skills are the ones I use most often in DS, and I generally use them in melee range, these changes are just what I needed. I hated how Life Blast got weaker the more you used it; now hopefully this will mean a noticeable increase in damage
Azman – Asura Necromancer, Kemena – Human Guardian
Emracool – Sylvari Elementalist, Lyra Lightbender – Sylvari Mesmer
These are decent changes, but I am far more interested by the new Near to Death + Foot in the Grave and Deathly Perception build types that will be coming out.
You don’t need a build for deathly perception lol, it’s super effective by itself and goes well with freaking EVERYTHING, especially with the new life blast.
It still is going to work best in a build that is designed with it in mind. Sustained DS builds are going to potentially be viable now.
Ranger longbow, they have no ideas after 10+ months, so they copy from other classes.
The Doom change was both unexpected and welcome. IIRC it’s pretty similar to what Nemesis suggested a few months back.
Doom = ok
Life blast – please just make the damage static and piercing by default… or just turn it into Plague Blast (underwater DS1)
