What if.
A-Net splits fear up into 2 parts. Fear as damaging condition with terror and fear as a CC skill

Why? Necromancers have a low supply of CC attacks next to fear
Fear -> Stability = CC doens’t work on stability
Fear -> Berserker stance / Diamond skin / Immunity to conditions = doesn’t work because it’s a condition

Necro vs Hambow (on point fighting tPvP) = Stunlock -> stunbreak -> low recharge on hammer gives you more stuns & no way to interrupt his attacks because he always uses Berserker stance

I know what you are going to say: Kite around the point untill his stance runs over and then burst him BUT in that time he already gets back-up (+ damage of hammer is OP high even if they wield knight’s amulet)

My necromancer got upgraded to a scythe-wielding maniac.. I like it.

Ok, I’m ASSUMING you mean that with a change like this the actual effect of fear (running away) and the effect from the trait Terror (damage on fear) would be separate, thus making fear do damage even if it doesn’t cause the enemy to run away.

Now, to start, I play Terrormancer in pvp and I would love to be more powerful as everyone else would, but, unfortunately, I don’t think this change is necessary nor would it be very helpful. The whole point of Terrormancer is to keep fearing your enemy as you debilitate them with conditions and to control movement around the battlefield – if you’re a necro in pvp not running at least dark path or corrupt boon? You’re at a disadvantage. Having boon corrupts is pretty much the best thing we have going for us, especially since we can turn stability to fear and keep our enemy on the run while we murder them.

Just try to avoid on-point fights with hambows.

You misunderstood what I meant I guess, I want the CC to be seperate, but it’s still 1 skill , I mean for example:
I watch close, hambow comes decapping, I have to duel him but when he pops berserker stance fear won’t work anymore because it’s a condition and not because it’s a CC, if he uses balanced stance, it’s easy to cboon him , but not if he uses both berserker stance and balanced stance at once (hambow panic button) I can cboon him, but stability won’t corrupt into fear because it’s a conditon. I wan’t it to be worked on someone that’s immune to conditions tough the fear damage won’t tick then.

Ex 2. Use fear on someone with stability, no damage and no cc will occur because without the CC the ‘damage conditon’ can’t tick. Might a weird explanation, but a combo of berserker stance and balanced stance + super CC on a hammer is somethimes too much for me because I can’t dodge everything or stunbreak out of everything.

You can say now to kite him around but not that evident if you’re looking for fast results and not having an enemy roamer to pop up.

It would be easy if I could do that always, but under circumstances there’s no other way and I’d like to interrupt his hammer attacks through fear but the problem is the berserkerstance/balanced stance
2 skills that that make fear unuseable

What if instead you learned how to get off the point while zerker stance is on for 8 seconds and then proceed to kill your target?

Why should the game change because you can not kill a hambow – this does nothing to make the game better is overly complicated and really makes absolutely no sense

You do not need to control a warrior to evade the hammer attacks – try dodging and better positioning
