Hi guys. As I understand it, Chillbains is a poison field and Putrid Mark is a blast finisher. What is the trick to getting the finisher to proc on the field? IE, if I drop Chillbains and it procs for the field, can I then simply drop putrid mark to proc the combo field? Or does it have to be instantaneous, or somewhere inbetween? Or can this blast even proc the field?
When Chillblains activates you will see a white circle on the ground with a puff of poison smoke for a very short time. If you then blast Putrid Mark in that region, it will then combo it and they will get Area Weakness.

Also, the combo will trigger on the entire blast finisher area, not just the overlapping one. That means you can combo finish on targets that are standing outside of combo fields as well.
What’s more is you can even place both marks down pre-emptively and still get the combo to process.
If you goal is to stack a lot of weakness on a group of opponents, you might even consider equiping Corrosive Poison Cloud. It, too, is a poison field. It also inflicts weakness on you when you cast it. This may sound like a bad thing, but isn’t really.
By following CPC with Putrid Mark, you inflict the weakness of CPC, the weakness from the combo of CPC+Putrid Mark, AND Putrid Mark transfers conditions from you (in this case, the self-inflicted weakness of CPC) to your enemies.
