Anyone know how well this works?
U must use consume or blood well as ur heal, the leeching from minion heal wont benefit from healing power.
Ive tryed it a few times, its so-so. The blood well is great with high healing, it keeps u and minons alive. The downside is u lose the condition cleanse and its too long without the CD reduction. I therefore prefer consume, it saves me a trait and a weapon or utlity for condition cleanse. Staff #2 and the ds#4 hael trait should be more than enough if u play build where u MUST keep ur minions alive.
I also think shamans works good if u use the poison cloud trait. But that one is a build weak to conditions and atm in tpvp its “condition month” especialy with engies
Take the trait to reduce minion cooldowns and just let them die.
Cleric’s gear + minions + using staff 2 (when necessary, not as the only weapon) steamrolls content in open world PvE, but open world PvE is pretty easy in general. It works ok in dungeons as far as minion builds go, and I bring it when I solo dungeons (except on some bosses with heavy AoE), but in groups I usually switch to greater marks + staff mastery for a more support oriented build.
I didn’t have much success with it in WvW, although it could solo supply camps easily, it had 0 mobility when players sometimes showed up to defend. I haven’t tried it in SPvP.

to me this is just a waste of a trait. better things to choose from
