Combo finishers.
Wail of Doom (warhorn 4)
A whirl finisher on a new weapon in the future, greatsword possibly, to have synergy with our Dark fields and Well of Blood.
Tooltip fix on ranged minions that they have projectile finishers.

I made this thread myself so I vote a “hell yes”
While a Blast Finisher would fit Unholy Feast, I vote “No” on adding that functionality. The skill already does quite a bit, and I don’t want to see any of that get nerfed just for a blast finisher.
However, adding a whirl finisher to Ghastly Claws (axe 2), I am all behind.
Axe #3 is perfect for a blast finisher…every time i use the skill i expect to see the blast effect:P
If they added a blast finisher to axe 3 you can put money on it that they would remove the retaliation, reduce the cripple, and cut damage in half all so we can….what? Blast into our dark fields for even more useless blind? No thank you. I’m with Dramor. Whirl on axe 2 would be great.
Also if they plan on keeping staff auto craptastic like it is now then it needs a better proc chance of a finisher, something like a 45% chance or a 20% chance per enemy hit (since the shot pierces)- not meaning it accumulates 20% per hit, but that each hit has it’s individual chance of the 20% proc. That would be far more interesting imo. Would be incentive to auto on it more and require more skill to line up your shots.
I think we need an elite ranged minion, something like a greater flesh wurm or something, that way we could potentially have 3 reliable sources of projectile finishers. I think poison fields need fixing too. A leap or projectile into poison creates….poison…. redundancy wins!

I made a thread like this a long time ago, Anet brushed it aside, No1curr about necros.
Combi finishers I would add are:
Enfeebling blood – blast
Unholy feast – blast
Deathly swarm – 100% projectile
Reapers Touch – 100% projectile
Wail of Doom – blast
Spectral Grasp – 100% projectile
Putrid mark – fix to trigger combos out of combat or allow players to manually detonate to trigger the blast when no enemies are present (might, stealth, swiftness stacking).
What IF Enfeeble becomes a blast? :Q
They would nerf it and remove the blast most likely. Although Id love to have a 7-10 cd blast on DS flash. Would be amazing with a staff ele if you dont have a second LH ele xD.
I remember when I first started playing GW2 the concept of combo fields/finishers was lost on me for the longest time mainly because I was playing Necro.
Maybe I wasn’t clear:
I’m talking about the addition of combo finishers without nerfing/changing the skills.
I don’t see how adding finishers would make them excessively stronger, especially considering that there’s really no explanation for their absence. (Maybe with the exception of Enfeeble, due to it being instacast on a very short cooldown with the right trait setup. Maybe only add it to the Weapon skill, if possible?)
Also, I don’t see how Ghastly Claws would fit as a whirl finisher. And even if it did, I think it’s already a decent skill and clearly not intended for any utility purposes.

I had the same problem. I didnt learn about them until i started aspiring to speedclear and started leveling other classes. Then again, guardian and mesmer arent good for teaching you about combos either (etheral and light fields op!) so I didnt learn until i made my 4th character.

You spin the axe at like 500 RPM. Seems like a whirl finisher could work.
but the enemy gets vertical hits…and it looks like a mini whirl
