So curious what everyone’s thoughts on this are. Which do you guys prefer? Trying to decide and just can’t right now.

And I mean everything included in WvW and PvE. Zerging, roaming, defending, world bosses, dungeons etc etc

Berserker power spec for PvE, always. Why do people even ask this still? Condi is garbage scaling, does not benefit from vulnerability stacking, and it only has one stat to scale with. It doesn’t synergize.

For WvW and spvp, run condi. Power necro is too fragile and doesn’t do enough damage if you don’t gear zerker since power necro has poor uptime options so you need to do enough damage before you get peeled.

Really depends on your preference. If you prefer to destroy people or mobs quickly you go for power builds. Condition builds take a bit longer to kill stuff, but using it against other players can sometimes give you the upper hand(especially, against players who don’t have condition cleanses).

Adding on, what about a Knights/Zerker for Armor for PvP/WvW and a full on Zerker set for PvE using a power build?

Knights, Cavaliers, berserker, soldier mix in WvW.

82% Critdmg 20k HP and 1600 Toughness are fine in WvW and roaming. At least for me

It works but it’s emotional to let go of Crit Dmg… I’d prefer to always have it on all the gear. Valkyrie + Berserker all dayyy! A little lack of toughness ofc but Cavalier trinkets work.

I alternate between the two. I still haven’t decided what is better.

Power Necro: very high single target damage combined with piercing damage an some AoE.
Condi Necro: Slower but overall really high AoE damage, and more durable.

I don’t know how people can say thing like condi is crap, even in pve it’s amaxingly op, i mean you can put like 20 stack of bleed (2k6 dps +) lot of fear (hit like 1k3 dps) the burning (around 730 dps) the poison (230 dps) + the vulnerability (im running the well who give vulnerability for boss. it make a total of almost 5k per second, i mean nothing is op as much as that… i forget the torment also ! + the fact that you put weakness in area with epidemic, this is insane (since weakness got buff and now affect every hit, crit or not)

I just want to add one thing. You get increased damage for objects only from power.
It takes ages to destroy crates and gates in PvE with condition build… Trust me…

There are only 2 options for PvE, POWER/CRIT or POWER/CONDI (main focus on power stats)
