Hi, I’m a new player and I would like to ask you for the answer on the name of the topic. Right now i have lvl 30 necromancer. (for future use I would like to focus on reaper)
But right now I’m facing the beginners crisis. I have almost no understanding of the builds yet.
So far I have noticed that necro has so mayn dot abilities such as bleed, poison etc. I feels like a waste to not use it in a full potention. on the other hand I fear that on the low lvl t might not have satisfying effect. Now I’m using Power and Precision full gear.
(The traits and other stuffs I have learned a little bit from guides but there was noting about this matter)

My second question – Does it matter whome I choose as my leader in story line in lvl 30? How it influence my character development – Does it make me focus on battle style or is it just a main story of GW2?

Thanks

There aren’t really any good hybrid specs anymore, it is mostly either full power builds or full condition builds. Power builds are better in pretty much every way, but some people enjoy playing the condition builds. If you just want raw power get a mainhand dagger and use power/precision/ferocity gear. That will give you the best damage a necro can do. There are plenty of builds floating around this forum, so i’m sure you can find one to your liking as you level up.

Also none of your story choices have any effect on anything other than the story, and even then it is only a very limited effect, so choose whatever you want!
