I would much rather the current version of CC than even the traited version which is only 5s less cd and gives you two conditions. Possibly 10 stacks of vuln and blind.

Like I dont think it is remotely close. Even traited the new heal is terrible. And we have no other good options.

I just wanted to shatter some myths I have seen posted that the new heal will be good with the trait. It wont be. We have to trait for the heal to make it even remotely close to “ok”. And that is with a trait and giving up other traits like terror.

If there was a trait called “reverse the consume conditions mega nerf” then I would take that over master of corruption

This nerf really is huge.

I hate it and don’t understand why we have to eat such a big nerf. Master of corruption does nothing good for us other than reduce some cool downs on skills I don’t even use anyways, as none of them, bar blood is power were improved and not altogether that great. I don’t depend on plague or epidemic as much as the devs seem to think we do, nor will 5 sec off a heal be major when I have to eat vulnerability plus another random condi that could be a game changer. How would you like to be vulnerable and feared with a thief backstabbing you… No thanks.

I just don’t get it, nor do I want to hear their shabby explanation, as it will be more bs we have to eat. This class is close to bottom tier and we got nothing that will really improve that situation and that is frustrating.m they are not even showcasing a Necro olayer tmrw which I find hilarious, and revealing in its own right. Hahah, keep believing it will get better and I’m sorry but the numbers are not there.

Taking master of corruption should take away the self harm part. Not add another one.

I think it should give 2 seconds or so of resistance instead + the usual condition. I mean it works for Revenant and that guy even gets stronger the more conditions he has, while we have no benefit from it (except CC and transfers). Removing the selfharm would destroy the defining feature of the corruption skills.

Also i think every corruption skill (except CC) should convert at least 1 boon into a condition. Might make CPC good if they also made it pulse faster…

Try shattering the myth with proof rather than assumptions and conjecture.

Exactly.

I’m actually going to love playing around with a corruptionmancer. I’m going to pick the corruption skill that gives me the most hurting condition and locust swarm that in my enemy’s face.
I always cast locust swarm after Corrupt Boons anyway to transfer the poison to the poor bunker. Now if it gives me another condition on top of the 33% lower cooldown, then even better!

I’m just worried that the non-traited cooldown of consume conditions is going to greatly hurt builds that aren’t built around condi transfers (such as the regular powermancer).
