No I did use corrupt boon on only 3 boons in a case.

Boon to condition conversion and condition to boon conversion has been standardized and is functionality changed. Skills that convert boons and conditions now randomly select from all boons and conditions on the target.

I asked if that was the case if you would actually read the thread. He said he used corrupt boon on a target with only 3 boons, one being STAB. It would definitly have been hit and thuis turned to fear. Because the outcome is not randomized, only the selection what condi/boon will be converted.
Whether you have 3 boons or 7 boons it will be converted to a random condition so using corrupt boon on a guy who may only have stability will cause that stability to change to a random condition doesn’t specifically have to be fear. I’m not 100% sure if this is a bug however if not then it’s working as intended…lol

I don’t believe this is correct, but since it does indeed not appear to be working, who I may be wrong. This is in the patch notes though:
Stability converts to fear for 1 second.
Which leads me to believe it is simply bugged.

You misread the patch notes: corruptions don’t convert boons to a random condition. The conversion table is fixed. See here: http://dulfy.net/2015/06/16/gw2-june-23-specialization-changes/#BOON_UPDATES
What has changed is that corruption skills choose which boons to convert randomly, instead of according to a priority list. So stability isn’t always last, for instance.
Yeah you guys are right, just been testing this out (10 times), all other boons are converted into what they are supposed to be. It’s only stability that doesn’t change to fear…my bad well..I guess we have to wait a year or two till they fix this for necros (jk i hope)…

Also, it’s all corrupting skills, not just CB, so it should be “necro can’t corrupt stability because it’s one of the strongest classes in the game!”

Maybe terromancer but condition necro still lives just differently.

I think what might be happening is that they did some code juggling and now the Fear is applying before the Stability gets stripped. Thus, negating the Fear. All the conditions would be applied before the boon gets removed, but this is the only case where one is negated.
I could be wrong, but that seems logical (and since it’s code, you have to use logic).
So the stability is still being removed, it just doesn’t fear them?
OK, I can confirm this, tested in control conditions as well. Stability IS removed, but not converted into fear. This is the case for any skill that corrupts boons (tried with SoS-traited signets and with PoC-traited Dark Path too).
