Just got a core necro to Ruby rank, no I’m not advocating that core necro is viable, there were some instances were the extra stability would have paid off but all in all it still works.

Ironically this build works against classes that try to kite you, assuming I was a reaper. Plague form, instead of Chilled to the Bone, in my experience I find this elite still does well, not amazing but well. Tanks DH traps, and works as a stun breaker, at times too I had used it like in the pre HOT days to secure a stomp. Also people underestimate that doom has no casting time, no two step animation, just F1 into 3.

All in all it was a fun time for me, and was quite the challenge. Sometimes I swapped to Core Ranger when I noticed we had too many necs. (that account does not have HOT installed in it xD) Some of my favorite fights were against Reapers.

yeah i played core nec again recently, had a good time. played against a condi reaper, hard fight and i lost. i think ill be playing more of it.

Yea it’s good, just went old school terrormancer since I don’t have HOT to make a cryomancer

I’ve played all of sapphire as a full zerker F-you life blast build. As a solo que though taking well of suffering was out of the question. Had to take poison cloud for the ranged defense. My other utilities were Spectral walk and Flesh Wurm, very mobile and hard to pin. In the bad bad matches I was the only one downing people, couldn’t stomp for all the cleave though.

I tried marauder nec, was pretty good, catchs opponents off guard blasting them with lifeforce for like 4k a blast plus lightning bolt. That was kinda the drawback to me too even as my terrormancer with dhuumfire on lifeblast. Alot of reflect! lol Corrosive poison cloud is pratically a must for me. It’s unblockable, stacks poison, inflicts weakness, and destroys projectiles. It’s only drawback is that it’s a little slow to cast but if you can get it off, and/or drop it on a point, it helps ALOT. Really underrated spell.

He hit Legendary yday with core necro+soloq

Honestly, even when reaper came out I stuck to core necro, everyone fighting us core necros as if we were Reaper has worked to our advantage.
