Imagine if for the next expansion there will be a competition for us players to design our own skills. You have to design 5 utility skills and an elite.? Here’s what I would design:

Order of the Vampire (recharge 30 seconds) (range 900)
- Bleed yourself (x5). You and allies within range steal health with your attacks (10 seconds). This is like a more amped up version of Vampiric Aura

Order of Corruption (recharge 18 seconds) (range 900)
- You and allies within range convert up to 3 boons into conditions with your next attack (8 seconds)

Order of Undeath (recharge 18 seconds)
- All your minions gain Might (x15) and are healed

Order of Power (recharge 30 seconds) (range 900)
- You and allies within range automatically convert up to 5 incoming conditions into boons (7 seconds).

Corpse Rain (recharge 30) t(range 1200)
- Bombard targeted area with necrotic energy (like meteor storm with green particle affects) (6 seconds). Deals 1, 098 damage and Poison (x2) each second.

Three of the Order skills should make Necromancers more able for supporting party members (and stop the whining about how necros are selfish) by adding support that’s related to their theme. I realize that Order of Power is in some regards functionally the same as Well of Power, but this skill is more viable as a party support and would be combined well with Well of Power for a more sustained form of condition management.

Elite Skill

Wraith Servant/Sepulcher Cry
- Summon a wraith (like the Risen Wraith) whose attacks chill enemies (1.5 seconds) (Melee). (Does not benefit from traits that enhance chills)
- Order your wraith to release a cry that fears foes (3 seconds) (recharge 40 seconds)(range 600) (Does not benefit from traits)

What would you do?

Call Zhiatan, minion duration 60seconds, cool down: 3 hours
Summon a “Undead Elder Dragon Minion” that you have defeated in the past
the “Undead Elder Dragon Minion” spawns 15X random undead “Undead Risen Minion” every 15 seconds (may include mouth/eyes of Zhiatan, Arah mobs, Lupi, Temple bosses)

when slain, a “Undead Lesser Dragon Tequila the Sunless” is summoned form its corpse

Edlit: fixed the naming of the minion summoned when “Undead Elder Dragon Minion” is slain

Life blast should hit twice and have its damage halfed
If Rocket Charge is only 2 leaps then it should look like 2 leaps
True Shot should be cast on the move

I’d change the Soul Eater trait to fit those of us who want to be a pure melee deathknight bruiser.

Soul Eater:

- Recharge of GS skills redused by 10 %
- After each successful hit with a GS skill you gain a stack of Soul Siphon , a damage resistance buff. Duration 6 seconds, DR +5% , stacks up to 4 times

these threads are nice creative outlets. hmm…

well of subversion
the next cc against one of your allies fails and they steal health from that foe.
elite well of negation
foes inside this well cannot gain any boons.
signet of transference
every few seconds transfer a condi from a team mate to yourself.
active – explode condis on you for power damage.
elite signet of vitality
allies in range gain resistance when they have over 5 condis on them.
active – allies with resistance lose their resistance and foes near these allies get slowed.

Team Deathmatch for PvP – Raise the AoE cap for WvW – More unique events for PvE

Tether Skills. Each tether breaks if the opponent moves more than 1000 range from you.

Tethers proc off your own attacks as well as your allies. But beneficial tethers only affect you even when triggered by an ally.

Tether of Bond: When the target of your tether is damaged. You receive healing per hit. You recieve life force per hit if in Shroud.

Tether of Mockery: When the target affected by your tether is damaged conditions on you are transfered to that target.

Tether of Despair: When the target affected by your tether is damaged. They are afflicted with cripple.

Tether of Warding: When the target of your tether is struck. Gain a copy of every boon they posses with a duration of one second per hit.

Dhuum’s Chains Elite: Tether yourself to any enemies in range. Those players can not move more than 1000 range from you without being pulled towards you. When pulled they are afflicted by chill and 2 stacks of Dhuumfire.

Edit: I forget skills usually come in Six haha. And I made these 5 with the assumption theyd be taken together.

If I had to think of a sixth that works with these while still leaving a gap. I would go with one that produces vulnerability when struck. My goal was to leave boon corruption outside of tethers while still working within hte necromancers theme. ATM necro relies on boon corruption a bit TOO much. So I would prefer to create something with an alternate feel to it.

move that does 15 million damage but has a cooldown of 48 hours. not usable in pvp.

im bad at sarcasm
