Hey all, returning to the game with my old necro. I used to play Condimancer but there doesn’t seem to be current info on most of the build sites on how to talent, gear and slot him.

So what’s the current “go-to” Condimancer build? Is it complete trash compared to Reaper? Is it accepted in Fractals, Dungeons and Raids? Thanks in advance.

(For reference I used to play a Rabid Condition build with undead ruins)

But overall, no, it is not worth dropping Reaper in PvE, ever. It is simply too good not to use. Literally the only reason one would not use Reaper is not having the HoT expansion.

This is mostly true, However in raids (salvation pass), I’m often asked to drop reaper for blood magic. Simply the utility of transfusion means condi reapers lose ~35% dps, a bunch of CC, shouts, ect.

Probably the biggest change in Conditionmancer comes from Viper’s stats on equipment, which increases condition duration. Bleeding, Poison, Terror, and Dhuumfire all get longer.

Reaper Shroud adds a whole lot of welcome new capability to Necromancer, including the profession’s first combat mobility skill, a leap, as well as a whirl finisher, too.

After that is Deathly Chill, Reaper grandmaster trait, which adds a long bleed to every chill.

Finally, Rise!, the new shout is better than having permanent Protection, if shouts are traited. Even if not traited, it is still better than traited Spectral Armor, IMO. Shouts are all short-cast AoE sustain skills.
