D/D or D/Any build
I run d/focus and d/warhorn as per stickied guide in necro forum. Very effective. 10/10 would recommend
I like axe/dagger & dagger/warhorn…warhorn 5 is actually decent when in melee range and immobile and following it with dagger 2 lets you get more from D2 because of the cripple you just stacked

That is the current build I made up and run with for my necro.. It is a staff d/f build now I mainly use this for wvw but I also do use it for pve it has helped a lot in fotm and some normal dungeon runs.
Now of course the gear can be changed as will to what you want but I just went with celestial because it gives me the best overall stats I can look for. Now with the traits I went with I did this b/c in wvw I get a faster well of suffering with my focus 4 so almost 25stacks of vul and I can burst anyone down and it also helps that my well of power is on a shorter cooldown allowing not only myself but other to enjoy in this condi-boon ratio goodness
Then I use spectral walk for wvw purposes to fool people or just to increase my speed but you can surely swap it out for a signet that rezs people or a signet that takes condis from allies what ever you want to mainly do…
