Was curious how well the heal that occurs when you leave DS scales with healing. I kind of want to try something supportish. Also curious about the life transfer heals allies trait. About how much does that heal with heal gear on?

dont use this trait. Even if u combine healing power and 50% DS cd trait, its medium at best. But for that u need 30pt in Soul reaping which isnt for healers.
Both Transfusion and Deathly invigoration have around a 0.1~0.4 ratio depeding on how they like it (arbitrary map level), overall on 300 healing power you get around 300 pre tick from transfusion and 330 from invigoration, the wiki data is sadly outdated (transfusion got some minionr scailing but limited to the general 5 ally heal).
Well that’s a disappointment
Cant really talk about Invigoration since i kinda just swap it in if not using wells and let the small heals pop around mostly unnoticed, but Transfusion does heal up to a nice count (at least 2.5k pre ally) and it can be used as a over time heal if used right at the end of DS making it worth way more than the 10 points into blood it costs.
With 200 healing power (the base you can have for this ability), it heals for 331. With another 100 healing power, it heals for 363, so definitely not a huge heal. Only take it if you are doing a bunker DS build, where healing 350 every 5 seconds on top of a lot of other heals you can get isn’t bad at all.
As far as I can tell, deathly invigoration is just barely stronger than a pulse of well of blood. And transfusion doesn’t scale with healing power.
It’s useless traits like this that makes me wonder what whoever was balancing this skill was thinking. Compare to the evasive arcana proc in water attunement, which the base heal for about 8.5x more, AND scales more with healing power even AFTER the recent nerf to it. PLUS it removes a condition! Both are AoE and both are on 10s CDs (untraited). Absolutely ridiculous.
Yes I know Evasive Arcane is a GM trait and this one is a master one, but there is no possible way to justify the incredible discrepancy between these two traits.
If you want to heal you are better off with an ele or a guardian.
Except that elementalists and necromancers are completely different classes. Never try to balance things by “Well if that class has it, we should too!”.
Except for the part that necros have no representative on balance meetings. Probably why they are so boring and simplistic.
