Death Shroud and Agony.
At least this more or less cements in the fact that Death Shroud is taking double damage from Conditions, right?
Its ok. Necromancers are OP because of Death Shroud.

Oh I know, we’re an unstoppable force. Especially when Death Shroud instantaneously disappears because a Boss decides to throw two stacks of Agony on you.
I can feel the power coursing through my frail corpse, as I lie on the ground in a pitiful attempt to Leech myself back up. It. Is. Glorious.
Agony ticks for 1/8 of your health, so if it ticks at 1/4 of your health in DS we just confimred that conditions do double damage while in DS, as was mentioned before, although people didnt have any solid proof. Hope this gets fixed in future patches.
Edit: whoops, didnt read till the end but yes, agree with OP on all points.
For the record, it may be that rather than agony / conditions ticking for double damage, Death Shroud’s life force pool is half the size of your character’s actual health pool.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

The logic is lacking, before Agony the damage is done over INTEGERS, real numbers. Agony does damage over a PERCENTAGE of the characters heath. Therefore if it depletes faster means you take more damage OR that it is really half the size of our health pool but Agony do damage over the real health of the player, but that wouldn’t explain why Conditions do double damage.

Bumping this. Still waiting on any kind of confirmation from other Necromancers. And I’d hate for such a terrible design mechanic to be lost amongst our other bugs.

Agony deals percentage based damage, therefore if conditions double the damage, it doubles the percentage.

the necromancers haven’t figured out that arena net hates them? Every other class that was weak as already received a buff but as far as I can tell the only bugs arena net have fixed for the necro were the few that allowed them to be something close to viable in PvP, and the minions are still god awful, don’t know why though the mobs seem to be able to attack just fine……..
