Okay so, before I get any comments that are scrutinizing this build, I would just like to say I haven’t tried it and just wanted to know if anyone has, or thinks it would be viable.
Lots of power, lots of LF regeneration, heavy damage and already hitting pretty hard as is, that axe should hit like a semi at night.
All my traits are allocated to favor Death Shroud usage as I would like to be moving in and out of it more frequently.

This is with WvW in mind, I’m primarily a roamer but also travel with the zerg, currently run a high condition build (which has served me and continues to serve me very well) and formerly ran a very tanky low DPS build. I find the one linked below to be a decent happy medium.

I know you were saying about scrutinizing the build but I have to just say at least this.

Do not take Signet of Undeath replace this with Spectral walk or Spectral armor which ever one you prefer, You need this Stun break there is no question about it and a Stun break that gives you Spectral and Protection or Swiftness is one of the best you are going to get.

As for is it Viable I am not sure I will have to give it a proper look in the morning when I have had some sleep.

Almost every DS dps build relies on Deathly Perception and there’s a reason for that – it’s a core trait for using Power DS offensivly.

I’d say – get 30 in Soul Reaping for that, pick Vital Persistance/spectral skills cdreduction and unyielding blast.

Then you have the room to experiment with Shroudmancer power traits.

As for weapons – I know many may argue, but I find Axe+Dagger/Dagger+Warhorn combo simply more fluid and effective.

Utilities – as said above, drop all signets and BiP, get some spectrals and wurm/well maybe. For roaming, take Golem for the most part and Lich if you like high cds.

Thanks for the help. I didn’t make any major alterations but I changed a few things around according to your suggestions. It might not be a traditional build but I like the looks of it.

Dont use Scholar Runes. you wont be over 90% HP much in any WvW situation. get ruby orbs instead if you are looking for Offensive runes.
