So i have been playing around a bit with this skill. I built a healing set w dwayna runes. Right now this skill coupled with 5 sec recharge from 30 pt shroud tree heals for 533 all around every 5 seconds. I use staff/dagger primarily for dps and extra healing. I feel the passive healing is hugely beneficial in dungeon environments. Has anyone else tried running this spec? What were your thoughts on it?

Do that thing even heal you? I was under the impression that it heals anyone but you in the AOE.

It heals you. For a bit more than 30% of what regeneration heals you for in the same timeframe. 60% if you go 30 in SR for the 5s deathshroud recharge. It feels weak to me, but could be fine for dungeons, I don’t know. Staff 2 does more assuming you take greater marks, but if you already have that or regen from another teammate I guess this would be able to provide a bit extra still.

I’d prefer to just blast off water fields. Oh wait.

If you’re not playing to win, don’t complain when you lose.

Hrmf, i checked it in game but didn’t see any green numbers. Tho i guess it could have faded out before the UI fully returned.

Edit: ah, yes. Crunched some numbers based on the formula in the wiki and the numbers from the affix article and came out with maybe 400 a pop in full exotic cleric…

Regeneration in comparison gives about 200 a second. So You gain a little above double the bang by going regeneration with the same setup. Maybe i should just go back to doing dagger and focus, thanks to the regeneration from #5. Just wish #4 did more than strip boons and chilled tho, as it seems a waste against most mobs.

it does heal you but the trait is a lot worse then life transfer and ritual of lie imo.. the fact it doesnt scale with healing power and only heals for around 600 makes it like 3 times worse then life transfer in pvp at least.. cant comment on pve.. no experience with pve nor do i want to have any experience in that.

Transfusion works on yourself, but you need to be in DS to use it and DS makes you immune to healing…

But if you’re channelling it and DS stops (because you’re at 0% Life Force) the skill will just continue and heal you. If you can time that right, you can actually heal for quiet a bit.

But I don’t want to heal my self , I’m talking about healing my minions.
Which will heal my minions more ? Transfusion or Deathly invigoration ?

Transfusion: Deathly Invigoration doesn’t even come close for that purpose (except maybe if you could masterfully do it every 10 seconds, and even then…)
