I would really enjoy for arena net to not have an event in January and instead fix all bugs in all professions. I play a necro and it’s… okay, but there are soooo many things wrong with it. I’m not worried about balance at the moment. I just want our profession to function properly.

I’ve been reading other profession forums and they seem to have the same problems.

I have no idea how you can gather accurate balance data based on flawed mechanics.
Fix the flaws then have fun with your events.

Keep the QQ going, and don’t forget to mention that you are quitting the profession as well. That is what ANET wants to hear so they can /delete the necro, let them win.

i dont want to QQ, i just wanted them to the fix the AI, change reanimator to a major trait or disable, and bloody just keep fixing traits and stuff in general. Not buff terror, and make defiant stop fear along with daze. Etc etc, im done with the QQ ive moved on to depression.

Dropped the game entirely till something changes…not interested in any other profession (the granddaughter had a run as a warrior…only to level 15…but what a faceroll…100 blades or whatever…the “I win” button).

I have a 80 thief, guardian, engineer, mesmer, and necro. Necro from gw1 is what i loved and i wanted to love it in gw2. I made all those other class’s so i could figure out how to counter them in wvwvw and pvp mostly, i learned enough to understand what “insert class here” is doing and what i might be able to do to counter it. I never found them fun so they kinda just sit at 80.

edit: now since they fixed nothing of note for necro i guess he will be the same.

Leveling the mesmer to 80 was harder then the others, thief had it simple, guardian was a face roll, engineer was actually fun but no of them held my attention for to long once i got to 80.

Let’s not just rush here with conclusions. I’m sure that we will see sometimes in the future good old-fashioned GW1 metagame changer: “We felt that we have buffed Warriors, Mesmers and Thieves way too much, and now it’s time to nerf them to the oblivion. Suck it up!”[/quote]

They’ll get it right eventually, I just expected more from a studio that should of learned somethings about pvp from their first game, and with the first contenent expand of this game I expect things to be better, till then we’ll see. Just wish the devs would get bolder in their changes, the SPvP community is drying up fast and still they make tiny to non existant changes, meanwhile I get to have a blast playing the SC2 beta where blizzard is making drastic changes almost weekly and listening to player feed back… gets kinda old feeling neglected, not just on Necro…

I’ve been telling fellow Necros for ages that Power+Condition+Vitality is great.

Many of them just insist on stacking 25 bleeds and then complain about the Bleed cap and how Life Blast, Life Transfer, Feast of Corruption and just about everything sucks.

Going Condition+Crit Chance+Toughness and spreading Bleeds with Epidemic is really good when facing huge groups of enemies but then you just suck at everything else.

Necros aren’t even that great at stacking single-target bleeds compared to other Professions.
They are just good at spreading it as AoE.
Very good but highly situational.
