Decrease the pre/post cast times
I hate the fact that there are pre/post cast times and not just a standard global cool down for all skills and classes.
I do think they need to “standardize” cast times. As in, your standard offensive ability should be 3/4s cast time, defensive abilities should be instant, and then you increase or decrease casts from that standard point for significantly stronger or weaker abilities. For example, elites like the Warrior banner have massive effects, so the cast time is much longer, but something like Locust Swarm doesn’t really do much when you cast it, so it should be lowered. But cast times should generally be relatively low for skills that don’t immediately have a strong effect on the enemy.
And aftercasts should only be used when absolutely necessary, for things that might be instant cast but can’t be cast while stunned (Corrupt Boon).
There is definitely a need for a pass-over of casts on Necromancer.
For example, if you cast staff #2 and then try to cast staff #3, i usually try to dodge before i get 3 off, or do a weapon switch after #3 has started to cast and it does not go off because of the long kitten cast times. So kittenes me off. Also, scepter #2, and dagger 4/5 are so freakin slow. It makes me so kittened off, because all of those skills are already easily dodged.
dont even get me going on life blasts =.= so disgusting i never get it off
and consume conditions- that stuff is wayyyy too slow many times i had to dodge and end up cancel it
If Rocket Charge is only 2 leaps then it should look like 2 leaps
True Shot should be cast on the move
