Played alot of reaper this weekend. Start with the good. Almost all of the quality of life changes since last beta were amazing. Reaper really is just fun to play. Feel like this one is almost there. So now to break some of it down.

Greatsword I feel fills its role. Its good for group combat. It isn’t a great 1v1 weapon and reaper really isn’t designed to be a 1v1 class anyways. GS auto attack seems ok now with the chill increase. Gravedigger I feel is where it should be now. Its very situational but can pull out some big dmg. Deathspiral feels much better now. Nightfall is perfect now that it doesnt stop you. Grasping Darkness is better than it was. Seems to work about as well as the other pulls now which is to say it works sometimes.

Reaper Shroud again with the fixes since last beta felt this was perfect. If I had to nitpick something. The fear would be nice if it were insta cast.

Shouts I still couldnt be bothered to use even one of these after playing with them awhile they were retired for the rest of beta just like last time. Necro is all about lifeforce. Its our class mechanic. That being said there is almost no way any of us would ever pick up nothing can save you over spectral armor. Peeps are invuln half the time anyways not blocking so i find this shout awful. Suffer is pretty much some lousy dmg and a short chill that i could have put on with an auto attack or deaths charge and not wasted a utility. Your all weaklings seems like a good idea but you might get off all of what 1 maybe 2 attacks before your might is gone. Rise I felt got worse. The minions have no health to begin with so when they start absorbing dmg they are dead almost instantly. Your soul is mine if the stars align and you hit all 5 targets with it and have traited for it instead of the 2 other much better traits then the skill is ok. Anything short of not hitting 5 targets and having shout trait and the heal aint worth it.

Possible Shout Fixes
1) 35% cd reduction standard even with 0 targets hit.
2) Shout trait buffed to level of other shout traits from other classes that all do something extra like give regen and swiftness for ranger adapt shout trait.
3) Remove all physical dmg from the shouts it was kinda lousy anyways and give more cc, stability, boons, condis, mobility anything to these shouts instead of that dmg.

Traits seemed better off this round. Reapers onslaught sounds much better but I honestly cant find a reaper build Im not using blighters boon. Deathly chill seemed better off but for a gm trait I feel this would probably still need to be stronger. Soul eater and decimate defenses I couldn’t find myself using on any build either.
