Got my vote here too, until it is removed, we will still have traits changed/adjusted to suit it. Lets just forget this failed experiment and get on with making us attrition as was intended in the first place!

+1 for having the stupid skill removed. Give us something else plz, its completely screwing the condi necro’s through periferal nerfs trying to bring it in line. Worst. Idea. Ever.

I wouldn’t mind seeing it removed in place of something else. I feel I “have to” run dhuumfire since it’s so much damage I feel I’m missing out on if I don’t. I’m just tired of seeing nerfs to other traits and skills because of dhuumfires doing.

I agree and disagree. On the one hand it does give condi builds more options. Such as running Dire or Carrion gear as opposed to a mix/full Rabid or Rampagers. On the other hand, those of us who do need that extra damage boost and can’t wait around for it in most situations are going to be negatively effected by this quite a bit. What I’m saying is, I would like an alternative trait to be able to take. Which I wont be getting.

Dhuumfire was the most stupid idea of the balancing team for the necro and should be removed. We need something to be done on the mobility front.

But we will never get it, the devs believe that we should be as slow as snails. It even gets worse when you realize that we have three incompatible movement speed increases.

I think the update is very good. For the first point it can be really well for making DPS builds which used DS alot. The overall DPS of a necro is already relatively low. Second of all it is true that it needs more skill after the update. In PvP it is well known that conditionmancer are very very strong. This makes applying burning harder and more skillful which makes the necromancer actually a bit higher rated (not so called “nooby”) build.

Ok, give us a real Dhuum skill to replace it. Fire does not make any sense anyway.
Weight of dhuum sounds like a nice replacement

burning just doesnt fit the necromancer. all the other conditions suit it a lot more. we could use some confusion and more torment instead

I think if dhuumfire will be really nerfed (by giveing it to life blast and only 3 sec),we(necromancers) need something for compensation,for example more skills(or trait) with torment.

I like beating necro’s like you
only think they are good because of this trait then they fight me and they shut up.
